Train Day

The Powerhouse and the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Train Museum invite you to come play and celebrate all things TRAINS on August 15th!

Ride the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Train between The Powerhouse and the Train Museum for FREE + engage in hands on train activities!!

Powerhouse gallery activities will include train painting, face painting, and expanded train table exploration. Food trucks will be available at The Powerhouse along with six prize giveaways throughout the day.

All activities are free and open to the public, make sure to bring the whole family for this end of the summer celebration!

TRAIN SHUTTLE DETAILS

The train will shuttle guests between The Powerhouse and the Train Museum (479 Main Ave, Durango, CO 81301) throughout the event. This FREE train will run from the Train Station to 11th Street and back.

**Powerhouse staff and volunteers will be walking groups from Main Street to The Powerhouse and groups from The Powerhouse up to Main Street as well. Don’t miss the opportunity to take the in-town train shuttle!
